SUMMARY:“GREAT INTERNATIONAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITY IN YOUR OWN HOME!
DESCRIPTION:Information Session on March 26th at 7:00 PM at the Rogers Community Room \n\n \n\nThe Rotary Club of Rogers is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring a Foreign Exchange Student through the North Star Youth Exchange for the upcoming 2018-2019 Rogers High School Academic Year. The Club has been notified that its Student would be arriving from South Korea in August 2018 and staying likely through June 2019.\n\n \n\nThe Club is now seeking potential Host Families that would be interested and excited to have the Student stay in their homes as part of this International Adventure. Typically\, this program would select up to three (3) families that would each host the Student for approximately 15 weeks per family. Interested Families should reach out to our club at up youth@rogersrotary.com or at 763-600-3838 to reserve a spot in an informational session scheduled at 7:00 PM at the Rogers Community Room (Fire Hall) located at 21201 Memorial Drive \, Rogers\, MN 55374.\n\n \n\nWithout the willingness and sincerity of families who have opened their hearts and homes to students they have never met\, the Rotary Youth Exchange Program would not exist. In an ever-changing world\, it is important that we expose our children\, our students and ourselves to areas and people unlike us it's how we open our eyes to a global community that shares the same hopes and dreams that we do. A variety of family structures are perfect for being host families small\, big\, with many children\, or no children. We aim to reflect real-world families to students\, and we know that real families come in all shapes and sizes."
