DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a presentation on Healthy Happy Homes!  One out of five people experience Domestic abuse- Do you know the signs? Do you have resources to help your friends\, staff or co-workers? Come hear from Maria's Voice!  21st Century Community center in Rogers from 11:30am -12:45pm. A light lunch will be provided! \nMaria's Voice\, a non-profit organization formed in May\, 2020\, honors Maria Pew. Maria's life was taken in domestic violence in her home in Maple Grove\, MN. \n\nWho we are: Mission\, Vision and Values\n\nMission: To Prevent Domestic Abuse \n\nMaria's Voice creates educational programs and collaborative partnerships to prevent domestic abuse. We assert everyone's right to a Safe Home and Healthy\, Equal relationships. We partner with cities\, organizations\, employers and faith communities. \n\nVision: To End Domestic Abuse \n\nMaria's voice is a catalyst to ignite life-saving national social change to end domestic abuse. \n\nValues: Awareness\, Education and Safe Action \n\nDraw on Maria's and our experience to inspire community action - optimism- innovation- courageous perseverance- informed by those victimized- celebrate survivors.
