Business Connections and I-94 West Meeting DESCRIPTION:In 2017 the I-94 Chamber of Commerce had started an initiative to further highlight the Non-Profit member organizations within our Chamber Membership. With the help of Abby Dahl from Crisis Nursery\, we would like to set up some time to meet and readdress the purpose of this initiative. Please keep in mind this will be the first of more meetings as we determine the group's goals.\n\n \n\nWe are scheduled for Monday\, March 19th from 10 AM 11:30 AM at the Villa Bar and Grill in Albertville. (Coffee will be provided.)\n\n \n\nI would like to spend a few minutes doing brief introductions including:\n\n \n\n What services are covered through our Non-Profit members?\n What does being a Chamber member mean to your organization?\n What would you like to get out of this group?\n\n \n\nLet's also consider how the Chamber may be able to help grow non-profit in perhaps the following:\n\n \n\n Visibility\n Access\n Networking\n Cost saving\n Training\n Advertising\n Advocacy\n\n \n\nWe would like this group to be well versed in what each Non-Profit is able to provide to our community. We also need to determine how local businesses can get involved to help each non-profit grow capacity and relationships within our chamber and our communities. I have invited several Businesses to be a part of this group/committee and I hope that with all the great minds in the room we can develop a plan that the Chamber is able to support as we move further into 2018 and plan for 2019.
