At this time, we are seeking a Nursing Supervisor to join our team!
Hiring for the afternoon & overnight shift with a hiring bonus of $3000.
•Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
•Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
•Contributes to assessments (MDS/RAP's) and the development of a plan of care.
•Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
•Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
•Records the administration of medication.
•RN will monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
•Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
•Performs other duties as directed.
•Valid, unrestricted 2 year RN license in the state of Minnesota.
•Current CPR certification.
•Maintaining CEU requirements.
•Minimum of 1 year in long term care/geriatric nursing and supervisory experience preferred.
•Must demonstrate competency in the following areas: Staff supervision, assessment and resident care skills, medication management principles and practice, and written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and clinical periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
•Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, nursing/Resident progress notes and nursing procedures.
