Networking: Moving Beyond Your Pitch

Members of the eLeaders Professional Development Program are invited to attend this special event featuring Bob Schlichte, Director of Strategic Relationships for Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley. Bob, who is also a member of the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, will share his history as a "Ship Builder" - friendships, relationships, partnerships, and sponsorships - and his experiences of networking success.
Following Bob's presentation, we'll break into small groups to discuss our own experiences, polish our pitches, and share ideas to move beyond the pitch and make valuable connections.

The mission of the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce eLeaders Professional Development Program is to assist early- to mid-career professionals as they build leadership and management skills to be used both in business and within our communities.
The eLeaders program features monthly events that highlight one of three main elements: Leadership, Networking, and Community. While the overall goals of the program are to provide opportunities to focus on personal and professional development and to learn about our communities and how to make a positive impact, we also know that having fun is an important component of leadership success and we’ll incorporate that into our activities.
