Sprains, Strains and Sustainable Solutions
Soft tissue injuries are the most common injury type for almost any industry and a true solution seems to be elusive. There are basic truths within the human body that can help us or hinder us. One example that exists in a high percentage of the population is the pattern of excessive tightness in the muscles of the chest and upper back along with weakness in the mid-back. Neither the too weak or too tight muscles support and move the body as well as they should, creating risk that could be easily corrected if the solutions are known. From back pain to slips, trips and falls to carpal tunnel syndrome, we have the ability to remove many of the root cause contributors to injury that lead to pain for our employees, stress for our managers and financial loss for the company. This presentation highlights the key contributing factors to soft tissue injuries and how to have a significant and sustainable impact on this costly problem.
