Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Addition to Word of Peace Lutheran Church

Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers is thrilled to announce a special groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming building expansion. The celebration will take place across all worship services on Palm Sunday, April 13 and Monday, April 14. This joyful event marks a significant milestone in our church's mission to expand and enhance our facilities, allowing us to better serve our congregation and community.
 
The expansion will include:

• An enhanced worship space with a larger stage platform and additional seating
• A multi-use space for fellowship and activities
• A full-service kitchen to support events and ministries
• A more visible and accessible office space for staff and visitors

 
Tyler Strom, Executive Pastor at Word of Peace, says, “This groundbreaking is the next exciting chapter in Word of Peace’s long history of serving our community. For 50 years, we’ve been a place of faith, connection, and impact—and this expansion ensures we can continue that mission for years to come.”
 
The ceremony will take place outdoors with a symbolic groundbreaking, followed by a joyous palm procession into the sanctuary for Palm Sunday worship.
