This role leads our new Andover branch, driving all sales, service, and operational performance. As Branch Manager, you will grow the branch by acquiring new consumer and business relationships, deepening existing ones, and generating strong partner referrals. This position is responsible for the management of the daily operations of the branch. The primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service to current and potential customers by servicing the customer’s total financial needs resulting in greater market share and profitability. This is accomplished by providing training and promoting teamwork within the branch and strengthening customer relationships by making sales calls on current and prospective customers. As a Branch Manager, you are responsible for management of the branch, leading all facets of sales, service, and operations of the branch. Leading the team in achieved budgeted production goals, acquiring new consumer and business relationships, initiating parter referrals, and deepening all existing customer relationships. Responsible for consistent business development and calling programs to generate new customer activity.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the branch, which includes planning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and corrective action for employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Takes responsibility for subordinates’ activities. Develops subordinates’ skills and encourages growth. Continually works to improve managerial skills and leads by example.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to set the tone of the branch to provide exceptional customer experience and a dynamic, engaging culture by offering appropriate financial products and services. This includes opening personal and business accounts, consumer and mortgage loan origination, and assisting with account maintenance.
- Managing portfolio of high value consumer and business customers. Provide customer referrals to the bank’s commercial, investment, and treasury departments.
- Manage the cross-selling efforts of branch by implementing sales goals established by the Director of Consumer Banking for items such as debit cards, credit cards, consumer loans, online banking, checking accounts, or partner referrals for other bank products.
- Participates in bank marketing promotions, call programs and marketing events including business expos, Chamber of Commerce activities, trade shows, and bank sponsored events.
- Understands and complies with the laws and compliance regulations that pertain to the products and services being offered to the customer. Ensures that the properties and facilities are kept in accordance with bank standards for appearance, cleanliness and safety. Light cleaning of the premises such as floors, walks and countertops during business hours. Maintains knowledge and understanding of the bank's loan policy. Ensures loans, processes and procedures meet bank standards.

- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- 3+ years job related experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license will be required, however may be obtained after hire.
This position may require S.A.F.E. registration at the time of employment. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) web site (mortgage.nationwidelicensingsystem.org) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position. Persons in this position must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau loan originator qualification requirements and must comply with The Bank of Elk River policy related to these requirements. The loan originator qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening.

COMPENSATION
Starting Salary Range: $73,000-$92,000
