Sr Member Advisor III w/ Mortgage Emphasis

As a Senior Member Advisor 3 w/ a Mortgage Emphasis, you will play a vital role in supporting members with their home equity, first mortgage, and other home lending needs. You’ll provide guidance on loan options and assist with the application process, analyze loan requests, make lending decisions based on policy, and assist members with their business account and investment needs. Your focus will be on building meaningful relationships, providing exceptional service, and ensuring compliance with real estate lending regulations.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet with members to assess their financial needs and gather necessary loan documentation for home equity loans, first mortgages and in-house lending products; provide personalized loan counseling and recommend financial solutions.

• Review mortgage applications for accuracy and compliance with credit union and secondary market standards; verify income, employment, and financial data.
• Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to resolve application issues.
• Coordinate closing appointments with members, title companies, and stakeholders.
• Build a strong referral network to generate mortgage and consumer loan volume.
• Cross-sell deposit products and services based on member goals; open new accounts and efficiently resolve member inquiries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate lending regulations; deliver consistent, meaningful service experiences in a collaborative, member-first environment.

• 2–5 years of experience in financial services or lending
• Strong knowledge of mortgage and consumer loan underwriting
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
• A service-focused and sales-minded approach
