New Course Offering from Hennepin Tech!

Are you or members of your IT team being asked to support cybersecurity functions that weren't part of your role a few years ago?

Many organizations are asking network administrators, systems administrators, help desk technicians, and other technical staff to support cybersecurity functions, often without formal cybersecurity training.

The challenge isn't finding people with strong technical skills.

The challenge is helping existing IT staff develop the cybersecurity knowledge needed to support security operations, monitoring, and incident response effectively.

That's why we've launched Cyber Defense Foundations at Hennepin Technical College.

As the first course in our Cybersecurity Monitoring & Investigation Pathway, it helps IT professionals build practical cybersecurity skills that can be applied immediately on the job.
