WRIGHT-HENNEPIN TO HOST EVENTS CELEBRATING NATIONAL CO-OP MONTH

Rockford, Minn. (October 7, 2024) — To celebrate National Co-op Month in October, Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association (WH) will host two events at its Rockford headquarters. The Member Appreciation Luncheon will be held Monday, October 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Members are invited to join WH for hamburgers, chips, potato salad, and a cookie while supplies last. Members who attend can enter for a chance to win one of two $50 bill credits. WH is also once again hosting its annual Fall Festival on Thursday, October 24. The open house event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This year’s Fall Festival will include pumpkin decorating, balloon animals for kids ages 3 and up, a magic show, and more. Members are invited to bring their families to enjoy a fun night out celebrating their electric cooperative and its involvement in the community. Attendees are invited to wear their family-friendly Halloween costumes. Both events are free for WH members to attend. National Co-op Month has been recognized across the country since 1964, and is an opportunity for cooperatives to celebrate the difference they make in the communities they serve.
