Underperformance, low productivity, losing great team members, profits, and more. So, how do you align your team members, initiate positive change, and create accountability amongst your team?
JOIN US as we go through action steps to transform your workplace into an environment of consistent productivity and positivity – leaving the drama for the sitcoms.
HR Changes taking Effect in December (9am to 10am)
Mr. O’Donnell, SPOE
Dramatic workplace change is coming. On Dec. 1, 2016, millions of currently exempt salaried employees will no longer qualify as “exempt” from the Fair Labor Standards Act’s overtime provisions. Despite congressional attempts to delay the effective date, the salary-threshold requirement to qualify employees as exempt from the FLSA will roughly double. This means big changes in compensations plans for many employers. Attorney Patrick O’Donnell is a Minnesota State Bar Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist and an A-Team Advocacy Captain with the Society for Human Resources Management. Pat will share some thought and strategies to help employers prepare for and manage the change.
